£44m facelift for schools

Schools across Nottinghamshire will benefit from £44 million worth of facelifts over the next 12 months.

Notts County Council has agreed to plans to spend £14m on new classroom space at its schools to meet demand for extra pupils.

This is in addition to the £30m earmarked towards the school capital refurbishment programme — a £65.5m three-year project to improve more than 300 Nottinghamshire schools.
