People across Nottinghamshire are being encouraged to use the NHS wisely over the winter period to ensure they get the best treatment in the right place at the right time.

Attendances at A&E departments are rising and more people are dialling 999.

Dr Chris Kenny, Director of Public Health at NHS Nottinghamshire County said: “Changes in weather and temperatures often mean otherwise healthy people fall ill during the winter months, if you’re not familiar with the NHS services on offer it’s often hard to know what to do for the best.
