Alfa Romeo driver banned in Mansfield for being over the limit
An Alfa Romeo driver was caught drink driving in Mansfield while taking friends home, a court has heard.
Declan Norris-Bell, 25, of Colwick Manor Farm, Colwick, admitted being over the limit in the early hours of April 30 when he was stopped on Nottingham Road.
A roadside breath test revealed he had 43 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when the legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
The court heard Norris-Bell had one previous conviction from 2011 for a disimilar offence.
He was fined £275, told to pay £85 costs and a victim surcharge of £30, and banned for 12 months.
