Appeal after attempted theft at store

Police have released this CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the attempted theft from Asda in Langley Mill.

The incident happened between 12.15pm and 12.30pm on Wednesday, May 7, when two men enteredthe Station Road store and put a large amount of razor blades inside carrier bags on a trolley.

They went towards the exit but after seeing security staff they left the goods behind and walked out of the shop.

The first man is described as white, aged around 35 to 40, with blonde hair. He was wearing a cream coloured jumper, dark trousers and black shoes.

The second man was also described as white, with dark hair and wearing a grey top and dark trousers.
