EASTWOOD Town have named Craig Armstrong and Jamie Brough as joint first team managers.
Armstrong, 35, played over 300 games professionally including spells at Nottingham Forest, Huddersfield Town and Sheffield Wednesday, while Brough has non-league playing experience as well as coaching with Hucknall Town last season.
A statement on the club’s website read: “Armstrong and Brough have worked together over the last three years and bring a wealth of experience from non-league football through to the professional game.
“Both are due to start UEFA ‘A’ badges in the coming days and we firmly believe that their energy, experience, enthusiasm and hard work, along with the full support of the soon to be announced Director of Football, will be of huge benefit to Eastwood Town FC and the plans we have for the future.
“Eastwood Town will shortly be announcing the name of it’s major shareholder who will undertake the position of chairman.”
The formal handover of the club is due to take place on Wednesday, June 1.
