PEOPLE across the county are being asked to have their say on electoral changes in Derbyshire.
The independent Local Government Boundary Commission for England is asking for feedback on its draft proposals for new electoral arrangements for Derbyshire County Council.
A ten-week public consultation on the recommendations started this week.
The Commission’s draft recommendations propose that Derbyshire County Council should have 64 county councillors – the same as the current arrangements.
But the proposals would mean slight changes to boundaries and electorates.
The full recommendations and maps showing the proposed changes to boundaries are available at www.lgbce.org.uk.
