A CONSTRUCTION firm which has worked with Broxtowe Borough Council for the past years is celebrating after being placed in the nation’s top ten per cent of ‘considerate constructors’.
Bullock Construction works in partnership with the council on its Decent Homes Standard – a project ensuring council-owned homes reach the minimum statutory requirement.
The Considerate Constructors Scheme visited the company’s site office earlier this year to award Bullock Construction 36 marks from a possible 40 for their work on the Broxtowe Decent Homes project.
The scheme rates construction firms against eight categories that require them to be considerate and good neighbours, as well as clean, respectful, safe, environmentally conscious, responsible and accountable.
