Busy programme of events for arts festival

A number of events have been held over the last week as part of the Eastwood Arts Festival including a dancing workshop at Brinsley Parish Hall.

Movement for All is for the over 60s to help build up general fitness and maintain independence.

There was also a wildlife photography exhibition held at Beauvale Abbey Farm in Moorgreen, a tradtional tea party at the SAFE shop in Nottingham Road hosted by local charity Communities Against Poverty, a poetry reading workshop at Eastwood library and a sing-along event for children at the Sure Start centre in Chewton Street.

An art exhibition started at the SAFE shop on Wednesday this week and is open to visitors between 12noon and 6pm until today, Friday, July 13.
