A pet store in Giltbrook has helped a dog rescue centre to raise more than £1,700.
Volunteers from German Shepherd Rescue raised money at the Pets at Home store on the Giltbrook Retail Park throughout October.
They sold cakes, raffle and tombola tickets, and dressed up as dogs in a bid to give the charity a boost.
Charity volunteer Sarah Pykett said: “We all had great fun working in the store and we are so grateful to the staff. The money will pay for vets bills and food.”
The charity will continue to hold fundraising days at the shop throughout this year.
