Children playing is joyous noise

What is this town coming to? The headline news of plans to monitor noise of children is unbelievable.

First, it was the noise from the breast screening mobile and from the Dovecote Road games area. Now residents have added the noise from children playing in the playground.

What more joyous sound is there?

It is unbelievable that the council have let the matter go this far and should not be wasting its time and our money on investigations.

If the residents want something done such as an acoustic curtain estimated at £60,000 the residents should put in for planning permission and pay for it themselves.
