A leading children’s illustrator and story teller came to school earlier this month to work with pupils.
Cherie Zamazing visited Brookhill Leys School in Chewton Street and can be seen here with Amy-Jo Barker, nine, Tegan Fuller, six, and Nathan Higgins, seven.
Cherie specialises in children’s book illustration and brought along her book Peter’s Pebbles. These pupils had a go at painting their own stones.
She works in a wide variety of styles, and adapts her work to suit a range of age groups.
As well as illustrating, Cherie also writes her own books.
