AN EASTWOOD choir is singing in a charity concert to raise money for Help for Heroes.

The Greasley Singers will be joining forces with Gloucester’s Churchdown Male Voice Choir for the event.

Entitled Voice for Heroes, the charity concert will be staged at the newly refurbished Duchess Theatre in Long Eaton and will feature a programme including war time songs.

Based at Eastwood’s Age Concern Centre in Edward Road, The Greasley Singers choir is in its 32nd year and has raised thousands for good causes since it was launched in 1979.

The concert will take place on Saturday, October 15 and will start at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £5 and can be booked on 0115 973 3326 or 01332 850 321.
