Crime figures in Eastwood are decreasing, a Police Community Support Officer has said.
PCSO Peter Keeley said at an Eastwood Town Council meeting on Monday night that various areas of crime had seen improvements in recent months.
They include shop lifting, criminal damage and violence and burglary. Figures for reports of domestic violence are at their lowest levels since September 2012, and have shown the steepest decline, the officer said. He went on to say that Anti-Social Behaviour Orders were underway for several troublemakers.
