A slip road onto the A610 in Eastwood has now re-opened after fears for a woman's safety.

Officers were called to the incident, at the B&Q Island, at around 1.10pm today (Tuesday).

Drivers were advised to avoid the area but the incident has now been brought to a safe conclusion.
