A WOMAN has been charged in connection with a glassing attack at an Ilkeston bar earlier this year.
Christine Monsheimer allegedly struck a 24-year-old woman in the face with a glass at Shakers Bar in the Market Place.
Police said that she had got into an argument with the victim during the night of Saturday February 25
The ambulance service contacted police and paramedics took the victim to hospital where she was treated for wounds to her lower lip and chin.
Her injuries required 40 stitches.
Monsheimer, who is 25 and from Ilkeston, will appear before magistrates in Derby on June 29 charged with causing grievous bodily harm.
