TWO men have conned their way into a Selston home by posing as Customs and Excise officials.
The fraudsters claimed they needed to search a property in Portland Road and stole cash.
Police said it happened at an address at about 5pm on Wednesday June 1.
One of the suspects was described as fat, white, in his late 30s to early 40s, 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10ins tall, and light-coloured short cropped hair. He spoke with an Irish accent. The other was thin and white.
It is believed they fled in a small white van.
