Man suffers broken ankles after 'hit and run' in Langley Mill

A man suffered two broken ankles after being struck by a car in a ‘hit and run’ in Langley Mill.

Police have just released details of the incident and are now appealing for information.

The 41-year-old man was hit by a white car in Ebenezer Street, Langley Mill, at around 2.50pm on Friday, March 19.

Police say the victim was found to have suffered two broken ankles. The white car allegedly failed to stop following the collision.

Officers are now appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.

A spokesman for the force said: "Of particular interest are any drivers with dashcam footage and homeowners with CCTV that may have captured the incident."
