AN ARMY medic from Jacksdale was caught drink-driving by police after crashing his car during an attempted U-turn.
Jack Martin (23) failed a roadside breathalyser test.
He went on to give a reading of 77mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath – more than double the 35mcgs limit.
Martin, of Barker Avenue, admitted drink-driving.
He was fined £365, with £85 costs, and handed a 20-month road ban.
