Police are investigating two burglaries in the Langley Mill area.

A blue and white Claud Butler Cape Wrath 2 mountain bike was taken during a sneak-in raid at a property on Station Road, sometime between 11am and 10.05pm on Thursday.

And at around 9.10pm on Wednesday evening, a burglary occurred on Julius Close.

The young male offender, who is described as white, around 5’7” tall and wearing a black jacket with a grey-hooded top underneath, is believed to have used a birdbath and a concrete block to damage the glass in the rear door of the property. However, the alarm activated and he left empty-handed.

Anyone with any information, or who saw anything suspicious, is asked to contact police on 101.
