A TEENAGER accused of an attack on a Kirk Hallam man last summer will be sentenced next month.
Lee Flinders, of Nutbrook Crescent, was due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on Monday for a trial in relation to the attack on Kellie Paylor, better known as Ashley, on July 22 last year in Queen Elizabeth Way.
The 19-year-old had pleaded not guilty to wounding Mr Paylor, 26, at a hearing in February but has now pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of battery.
He will be sentenced on May 15 alongside Samual Freeman, 30, of Wirksworth Road, who has pleaded guilty to the attack, alleged to have involved a broken bottle.
Flinders was bailed but must not contact Freeman or Mr Paylor.
