Third man arrested in connection with firearms discharge in Bilborough

A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a firearms discharge in Bilborough.

He is the third person to be arrested following the incident in Bramerton Road at around 11.30pm on Thursday, October 3. No one was hurt in the incident.

An officer was kicked in the shins while carrying out the arrest in Newmarket Road, Bulwell, yesterday.

The 23-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and assaulting a police constable.

He was also arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm in relation to an assault in Castle Road, Nottingham, on October 1, and in connection with the robbery of a car in Watnall Road, Hucknall, on August 22.

Two other men, aged 23 and 31, have also been arrested by officers investigating the firearms discharge and have been released on police bail, with conditions, pending further enquiries.
