Sainsbury’s in Kimberley will be asking customers for donations as they do their shop this weekend.

Sainsbury’s stores across the country will have trolleys at the end of their checkouts this Saturday as the company tries to pull together one million meals for the poor.

The initiative is held in partnership with Fare Share, and the food will be distributed to poverty charities in the region.

Anything non-perishable will be accepted, such as tins.
