The SAFE shop in Eastwood has been the place to be for the town’s arts festival this week.
On Monday there was a crochet and knitting workshsop and on Wednesday a monster-making workshop.
Residents shared their traditional skills in crocheting, knitting and rag-rugging in an informal ‘have a go’ taster class with textile artist Jessica Kemp, and kids made three dimensional monsters and aliens with artist Hayley Guest later in the week.
Two monster-making workshops were held, one in the morning for toddlers, and one in the afternoon for seven to 11 years olds.
A silk painting workshop is being held there today, July 27.
