The charity Family Lives is looking to recruit a team of outreach volunteers throughout Nottinghamshire for its next training sessions.

They take place on 25th, 27th November and 3rd December at Play Works Nottingham, Alfred Street North, from 9.15am until 3.15pm.

During Family Lives’ training sessions, volunteers will learn how to support and engage with families via the helpline call taker and live chat training to support families and help them explore options to find positive solutions.

Kate Warren, family lives’ service manager said: “Working with families throughout Nottinghamshire is a great way to make a real difference to help parents and all family members.

“Volunteers will receive ongoing free training, support and access to a free qualification.

“Family Lives has over thirty years’ experience working with volunteers who go on to engage with and empower families to deal with the everyday and occasional parenting challenges that we can all face from time to time.”
