Scores of people enjoyed a fun day in the sun at the bigger-than-ever Underwood Festival on Saturday.
From fairground rides to live music, a dog show to classic car display, there was something to appeal to everyone.
A birds of prey display, the chance to drench people in the stocks and the Peter Presto magic show were just some of the other attractions, as well as traditional stalls and games and a bar.
Ashfield District councillior Robert Sears-Piccavey, who is chairman of the Festival’s organising committee, said that it had been a great success.
“It was an excellent day,” he said.
“Obviously the weather helped but our gate receipts were double the previous year.”
Coun Sears-Piccavey said that the live music hgad helped draw the crowds, with both the dog show and the football tournament in the main arena also proving popular.
