A Selston youth festival has had to change venues with less than a week to go.
The festival has been moved from Woodnook Park to Selston Park in Alfreton Road.
It will still take place as planned from Monday, July 30 to Friday, August 3.
It will open on the Monday with a big launch from 1pm until 9pm, and times from Tuesday to Friday will be 6.30pm to 9pm.
One of the organisers, Nottinghamshire County Council youth worker Lesley Froggatt, said: “Following heavy rainfall last week the ground was waterlogged and an event preceding our festival was cancelled so we followed suit.
“This is the second year of the festival in Selston and attracted around 100 young people last year so are looking forward to another exciting event this time around.”
The festival is the latest organised by the county council’s 4Uth service. Activities will include a climbing wall, surf simulator, zorbing and much more.
