An annual summer fair at Nuthall’s Horsendale Primary School raised a rewarding £1,300.

Co-ordinated by the school’s Parents Support Group the event was a big success with teamwork and community support both playing their part.

Families turned out in force and there was much to delight the young and young at heart.

A wide variety of stalls, a dancing display, fencing demonstrations, and a sparkling performance by the school choir all impressed a packed audience.

There were pony rides, competitions and games, face painting and a fire crew with their engine making their marks.

Headteacher Karen Jagger praised the Parents Support Group for their hard work and effort and heaped praise on the school’s supporters who made the event a fun-filled success.
