Fun packed adventures will be on offer at Eastwood’s DH Lawrence Heritage Centre to keep the kids entertained this summer.
From mini-beast hunting to a wildlife workshop and a science discovery day, there’s something for every child to learn and enjoy at the centre on Mansfield Road.
There will be a wildlife workshop on August 12 between 11am and 3pm.
‘Bugs n Bones’ will be bringing along their collection of animals including reptiles, snakes and mammals for children to see and touch.
There will also be a face painter on offer and additional crafts for the children to make and take home, and a trail to follow with the chance to win a small treat.
Workshops will take place at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm and booking is essential. Only one adult per booking please due to limited space.
A science discovery day will take place on Wednesday, August 19, also between 11am and 3pm.
Bring the kids along to a day of discovery with Gizmo’s Labs.
Amongst the many exciting experiments they will be able to make rocket balls and kaleidoscopes to take home.
There will also be an opportunity to have a free indoor hovercraft ride and a trail to follow with the opportunity to win a small treat.
Sessions will take place at 11.15am and 1.15pm and booking is essential.
Only one adult per booking due to limited space.
Admission is £3.50 per child with discounts available for DH Lawrence Heritage annual members.
All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. An accompanying adult is free.
