God loves us all amongst the huge vastness of the universe

MY mind has been blown over the past week by the three star gazing programmes on the BBC.

I realised just how little I know about astronomy and the trillions of stars and planets that are out there.

Scientists are striving to go even deeper into space and are constantly finding new things in the sky.

I was fascinated by the explanation of gravity and how this affects the planets. Space is never ending.

I was reminded of the account we have in Genesis about the creation of the world.

We can make him small in our minds or realise how great he is from the evidence of the vastness of space.

The Bible tells us that God loves us and in the book of Romans we read that ‘neither height nor depth not anything else in all creation can separate us from the love of God.

Even though we are so small and insignificant in the scheme of things, God still loves and cares for us.

Wow! How wonderful is that!

We cannot even begin to understand the entirety of space at the moment, but we can appreciate the amazing sights and wonder about the greatness of the Creator.

Happy star gazing!
