The 28th edition of the popular Goose Fair Gallop is preparing to hit the ground running on Sunday October 5.
The annual ten kilometre race run by the Kimberley and District Striders attracts upwards of 140 entrants of all abilities each year to race for cash prizes and prestigious trophies.
A multi-terrain course covering road, bridle path and farm tracks will start from Kimberley Leisure Centre and finish on the park at Swingate.
The closing date for entries that will receive a bespoke number is the 26th, but runners can turn up and enter on the day.
Entry costs £12 per person from www.runnersworld.co.uk or £14 on the day.
The race begins at 10am.
