Gridlock fears over new housing

With reference to the proposal of building of 650 houses in the Kimberley area, I would like to know if the people who agreed to this have retired, and do not drive in or out of Kimberley at peak times.

The impact of another 650 houses would bring what are currently very busy roads to gridlock.

The current infrastructure would not cope with the increase of vehicles.

I don’t think Broxtowe Borough Council or Kimberley Town Council are listening to what people in the Kimberley area want. Having been invited, no members of the local or county council attended the meeting on July 18 at Holy Trinity Church to explain where they stand on this proposal.

Surely some consultation is needed, so people can put their points over and discuss any concerns.
