How would you save £77m in three years?
This is the question Nottinghamshire County Council is asking local people as part of their ‘Doing Things Differently’ budget consultation.
The council are looking for new approaches and innovative ways of addressing the budget shortfall and want as many people as possible to get involved.
The £77m budget gap is due to reductions in Government funding, increasing costs due to inflation and rising demand for many of its social care services.
This money therefore needs to be saved over the next three years.
The consultation started on October 8 and the finished report will be published in early November.
