I share same ‘Alps’ concerns

With reference to your front page article on the Watnall Alps (Eastwood & Kimberley Advertiser, March 23, 2012) I completely agree with the comments of Mr John Smith.

On the Friday I read the article, the mountain (stockpile) grew approximately another 20 feet in height.

Surely, from an environmental point of view, introduction of an ‘alien’ feature, such as a secondary aggregate stockpile, which can be seen for miles around, is out of keeping with the landscape and local area and is not acceptable.
