A music event in Kimberley raised more than double its usual amount last weekend.
Organiser Frank Horsley said this year the event firmly took off.
“It was brilliant. Each year it seems to get better and better. I felt this year we moved the event up a gear.
“People in the community have made it a red letter day in the Kimberley calendar. I think we have done what we wanted to do – make it the summer event for the community to come together. The numbers that were out in the square was great and the atmosphere was fantastic.”
The jam raised £2,654 for local charity The Ryan Lee Trust.
