A former Chief Commandant of the Special Constabulary, who is now an ambassador for the Scout movement, has been installed as the new president of Bestwood Male Voice Choir.

John Pritchard, 63, who lived in Kimberley for many years, follows in the footsteps of Len Hogg and Howard Leese, who both held office before him.

Baritone singer John who served with the Special constabulary for 45-years, was a driving force behind the Nottinghamshire Police Male Voice Choir.
