Pupils at Kimberley Primary School hosted a European breakfast event, inviting children from schools across the area.

A team of year nine pupils hosted the event to encourage interest in foreign languages, culture and cuisine.

Excited guests bought a wide range of breakfast foods on offer, ordering in a different language and paying in foreign currency.

Kimberley’s language teacher Louise Moss said: “It is important for the children to be given every opportunity to learn about different cultures, to speak different languages, to eat worldly foods and to meet and make friends with people of all nationalities at home and abroad.”
