KIDS made Olympic torches as part of a special homework project to get their parents involved in school work.
The torches were all different shapes and sizes, and some were battery powered or electric.
Each term, teachers at Kimberley Primary School set children the task of making something crafty at home with their mums and dads in a bid to get parents involved in school work more.
Headteacher Jennifer Porter said: “They ranged from small 10 to 15cm torches to full size metre-tall torches. It gives the children the chance to shine and I think the parents enjoy getting involved in things like this.”
Last term the kids were tasked with making model boats.
