Pupils at Brookhill Leys Primary School put on a dance show based on a painting of Italy.
The kids did a week’s worth of work based around a painting of the grand canal in Venice.
They designed an Italian menu, learn to count in Italian, then finally produced a dance show featuring Venetian masks at the end of the week.
The project, called ‘Take one Picture’ was done with a group of teaching students from Nottingham Trent University.
The painting was ‘The Upper Reaches of the Grand Canal’ by Canaletto.
Another two groups in the school took part.
