Last chance for a say on HS2 rail line

Broxtowe MP Anna Soubry is urging people to have their say on the proposed HS2 rail project, which is due to cut through Nuthall.
The public consultation on HS2 closes on January 31 and Ms Soubry says it is important people take part because it affects the residents of Broxtowe.

The proposed route from Birmingham to London includes building the East Midlands hub at Toton Sidings. The route then follows the M1 through Broxtowe, affecting people living in parts of Trowell, Strelley Village and Nuthall.

A new group to support positive development at Toton Sidings has recently been set up.
