A man has been given medical treatment after a kitchen fire in Kimberly.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the fire at 3,56am today, Thursday, November 11.

Crews from Stockhill and Ilkeston attended the fire on James Street.

A fire and rescue spokesman said: "The male casualty received treatment from EMAS for smoke inhalation. Two breathing apparatus and one hose reel used to extinguish the fire."
