BROXTOWE MP Anna Soubry has said how ‘immensely proud’ she is of Kimberley swing singer, Ian Campbell after he raised £140,000 for charity in a year-long pub tour.
The MP joined Ian, aka Frankie Martin, for his final home-coming gig in Kimberley last week.
She said: “It was an absolute pleasure to join a packed Kimberley Miners’ Welfare for the final gig.
“We should all be really proud of his efforts over the last twelve months.”
Ian sang in 366 pubs in as many days, living out of his transit van, and raised over £140,000 for the Help for Heroes charity.
He has now released a single called Forever in Your Hearts to add to the proceeds.
