EASTWOOD MP Gloria De Piero will begin a two month tour of the constituency today.
Over the next two months the Labour MP is planning to meet with as many people from across the district as possible and has arranged to visit church leaders, local businesses, schools and youth clubs.
The tour will provide an opportunity for people from all walks of life to actively engage with their local MP at variety of locations, allowing them to pass on their opinions and raise any concerns.
Gloria will then take any issues that have arisen straight to Parliament.
Said Gloria: “It will be a great chance for people to tell me what really matters most to them and it will provide them with an opportunity to have their say.
“I can only do my job properly and represent the people of Ashfield by being in contact with them regularly and along with my surgeries this is the perfect way to do this.”
Gloria will kick off the tour at Teversal Football Club today and will be in the Eastwood area next Friday when she will first of all visit Lynncroft Primary School.
