Eastwood MP Gloria De Piero has urged residents from the town and the surrounding areas to take part in an East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) consultation.
Under the plans the ambulance station could close along with every other Nottinghamshire station apart from one in the city and one at Sutton’s King’s Mill Hospital.
Neighbouring stations including Ilkeston are also earmarked for closure.
Instead 131 community ambulance posts, standby posts and hubs would replace the existing stations.
Eastwood is listed as one of those which could have a community ambulance post but an exact location is yet to be decided.
