A MUM whose son died of a brain tumour is appealing for people to help out with the trust she set up in his name.

Debbie Lee wants to know if anybody can offer any help or expertise with fundraising for the Ryan Lee Trust Fund – the charity she set up after her 15-year-old son died last year.

She said is looking for help with everything from organising fundraising events, handling the accounts and dealing with the website.

Mrs Lee launched the trust so she could raise money for specialist pieces of equipment so children could live at home while they were ill, instead of having to be in hospital.

Ryan had five tumours, including an inoperable one on the stem of his brain, and within just a few months of falling ill on holiday he could not walk, talk or even eat.

Mrs Lee raised £5,000 at a recent charity event at Kimberley Leisure Centre to enable the trust to become a registered charity.

If anybody can offer any help they should ring Debbie on 0797 6737 331.
