More than 9,902 people contacted Nottinghamshire County Council during its largest ever public consultation for next year’s budget.
The five-month consultation started last September and ended last week.
Cllr Kay Cutts, leader of the council, said: “This has been the largest and most extensive consultation that the council has carried out and we have listened.
“Whilst tough decisions need to be made we have been listening to all the consultation feedback to gauge residents’ views and respond to areas of strong concern where possible within our financial constraints.”
The consultation included feedback forms which were sent out twice to every Nottinghamshire household with an opportunity to make comments via the post, online and over the phone.
