A GROUP that help support people with lung conditions has donated £500 to a surgery for doctors to invest in the latest equipment to diagnose Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder.
Eastwood’s Breathe Easy group presented the cheque to staff at the town’s Church Street surgery for them to buy a Spirometer.
Spirometry measures how well the lungs are working and can help diagnose various lung conditions. Breathe Easy, which raises money from raffles, tombolas, donations and general awareness-raising, will next meet on November 9 at the Victory Club in Walker Street.
Anybody suffering a lung condition is welcome.
