Beautiful gardens at Felley Priory will be open to the public this weekend
People are invited to explore a beautiful garden in Underwood this weekend.
The garden at Felley Priory will be open for visitors between 10am and 4pm on Sunday, April 18.
Visitors are invited to admire yew hedges and topiary, hellebores, herbaceous borders and a rose garden. There are pergolas, a white garden, small arboretum and borders filled with unusual trees, shrubs, plants and bulbs.
The grass-edged pond is planted with primulas, bamboo, iris, roses and eucomis.
There is also a bluebell woodland walk and an orchard with rare daffodils.
The garden is being opened by the National Garden Scheme, which is now able to open gardens again in line with the easing of Covid-19 restrictions.
