Eastwood man took his own life, inquest hears
An Eastwood man took his own life last year, a coroner has ruled.
Terry Annable, of Scargill Walk, Eastwood, Nottinghamshire, died on July 24 last year.
The 37-year-old was found in a field off Steam Mill Lane, Ripley.
Mr Annable’s inquest took place at Chesterfield Coroner’s Court on Wednesday.
Recording a conclusion of suicide, coroner Sabyta Kaushal said: “He had a history of depression and heroin dependence.
“Ligature marks around his neck confirm Mr Annable took his own life and that he intended to do so.”
An inquest is a public judicial inquiry to find the answers to a limited but important set of questions: who the deceased was; when and where they died; the medical cause of their death; and how they came by their death.
