Eastwood school catering company expands with two new staff members
An Eastwood school catering company has appointed two new members of staff as part of plans to expand.
Relish School Food, contract caterer across primary, secondary, special schools and care homes, has announced two new appointments to the business as part of its ongoing growth strategy.
Kim Harwood has joined the company as business development manager, responsible for driving sales and increasing turnover through new business opportunities, while developing existing client relationships.
Ms Harwood joins from the Woodfield Academy in Redditch, where she held the position of assistant head of finance and resources.
Helen Pountain has been appointed as operations manager, with the remit of managing and overseeing client sites, including staffing, planning, budgeting, procurement and training.
She joins the business from ABM catering in Warwick, where she held the position of operations manager. Her responsibilities included mobilising new contracts, dealing with HR processes, health and safety audits, budget management and capital investment, together with recruitment, staff training and protection audits.
Clare Lovett, managing director at Relish School Food, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Kim and Helen to the team.
“They join us with a wealth of experience gained over 20 years working primarily across the education sector, but also in Helen’s case across care homes and B&I, which will be hugely beneficial to both existing and new clients.
“I would like to wish them both the very best in their new roles.”
