Lexie donated a total of 398 Easter eggs - three trollies full.

Lexie Watson completed 30 star jumps every day in March to raise money to buy Easter eggs for local good causes.

In the end, the youngster raised £350 and donated 398 eggs – three trollies full.

These were given to Morrisons in Eastwood for distribution around the community ahead of Easter.

Lexie’s mum Claire King said: “Her school put her on the top of the school heroes board and gave her an Easter egg of her own. She did amazingly.”
